We are looking for a Sales Engineer for Cybersecurity Services Team, a dedicated person who sits at the intersection of technology and commercial awareness, turns client conversations into well-scoped, estimable projects, and builds the relationships that keep new business flowing.

You will act as the first technical-commercial voice in client conversations and as the mentor and support system for our enthusiastic engineering team.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Scope and estimate technical work: Translate client requirements into realistic project scopes (size, timeline, resource mix) and flag technical risks and assumptions, so quotes are credible and delivery expectations are aligned.

  • Provide technical input to bids and proposals: Support the client specialists and sales process with the technical assessment layer - feasibility, solution fit, and effort - while the commercial and relationship side stays with the client specialist team.

  • Maintain a visible presence in the cybersecurity community: Attend industry events, meetups, and partner gatherings as a technical representative of the division, and cultivate a professional network of contacts.

  • Mentor the young team: Serve as the senior technical "go-to" for our engineers - no hands-on delivery, but deep subject-matter guidance and career support.

  • Bridge technical and commercial: Translate engineering capabilities into language that clients and procurement decision-makers can understand, and bring the technical side of market reality back to the engineering team.

  • Share technical market signals: Feed insights on emerging technical requirements, competitor offerings, and gaps in our service portfolio to the Product, R&D, and Services leads.

As a successful candidate, you must have:

  • 5+ years in cybersecurity or a closely related technical field (e.g., network security, cloud security, ISO 27001/NIST compliance) to have a deep enough domain knowledge to assess feasibility and estimate effort on unfamiliar projects quickly.

  • Hands-on experience scoping and estimating technical projects: translating vague client requirements into sized, resourced, risk-flagged project outlines, ideally with a pre-sales or solutions-engineering background.

  • Experience contributing the technical layer to bids and proposals in B2B contexts, what a solution entails, how long it takes, what it needs.

  • Solid working knowledge of how professional services are sold in Estonia, buyer profiles (public sector, regulated private sector), procurement cycles, and pricing norms.

  • Strong communication skills: able to hold a technical conversation with a CISO, a procurement officer, and an engineer in the same day.

  • An established professional network in the Estonian cybersecurity community, you know the people and the key events.

  • Fluent English and Estonian, written and spoken.

You will stand out by having any of the following:

  • Recognized standing in the local community, public talks, conference panels, publications, or advisory roles in cybersecurity.

  • Experience mentoring or leading junior technical staff, providing direction without hands-on delivery.

  • Background in public-sector, defense, or regulated-industry security, with day-to-day familiarity with compliance and procurement processes.

  • Experience with EU-funded or NATO-context security projects and their bidding frameworks.

  • Higher education in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related technical field.

We are offering

  • A role with direct impact on commercial strategy and divisional growth.

  • Access to cutting-edge cybersecurity, defense, and space technologies and R&D.

  • Flexible work model, professional development budget, and a collaborative executive culture.

  • Wide range of company benefits (paid health days, sports allowance, massage in the office, different events etc)

  • Private office space in Tartu or Tallinn
