Senior Security Engineer for Cybersecurity R&D Projects

📍 Tallinn / Tartu, Estonia

Your main responsibilities will be to

• Research various cybersecurity related topics based on project deliverables/tasks

• Collaborate with internal and external partners on research deliverables/tasks (occasionally includes traveling)

• Create and deliver information in both documentation and presentation formats

• Work close together with our internal development team

• Plan and design the security architecture of information systems

• Provide risk analysis of information systems’ security and performance

• Evaluate compliance with standards and security requirements

As a successful candidate, you must have

• At least 5 years of previous experience in cyber security field (e.g. as a Security Engineer or similar)

• Knowledge about network, communication and platform security

• Ability to learn fast and adapt well to new technical challenges in R&D projects

• High level of responsibility and systematic approach to your work

• Ability to work independently and take initiative

• Very good written and spoken English; Estonian is a plus

• EU citizenship

You will stand out by having any of the following:

• Interest in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence

• Experience or knowledge in defense, national security domain, or UxV platforms

• Experience working on R&D projects and defense innovation initiatives

• Relevant higher education or information security certifications
