We're hiring an AI Engineer to own the full lifecycle of production AI systems—RAG pipelines, chatbots, document processing, and more. You'll work in a small, autonomous team shipping real features for government clients and enterprise partners. If you want meaningful impact without startup chaos or big-company bureaucracy, this is it.
Your main responsibilities will be to
Design and deploy applied AI features: RAG pipelines, chatbots, transcription, summarisation, image generation
Integrate and optimise retrieval pipelines using vector databases (e.g. FAISS, Weaviate, Pinecone, Elasticsearch)
Package prototypes into production-ready services (Docker, basic Kubernetes, CI/CD)
Apply MLOps best practices: version control, monitoring, retraining when necessary
Stay current with the latest LLM and generative AI developments and translate them into practical solutions
As a successful candidate, you must have
2+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, ideally with LLM/RAG projects
Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with modern python+AI stacks (uv, FastAPI, Pydantic, Hugging Face, PyTorch, LangChain/LlamaIndex, OpenAI/Anthropic APIs)
Familiarity with infrastructure and DevOps basics: Docker, Git/GitHub Actions, cloud storage (S3, GCS, Azure Blob)
Ability to handle data engineering tasks (data cleaning, indexing, preparation for retrieval)
Excellent communication skills in Estonian and English
You will stand out by having any of the following:
Experience leading small AI teams
Practical experience deploying AI solutions in cloud environments (AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI, Azure ML, or Kubernetes-based setups)
Familiarity with experiment tracking and monitoring tools (MLflow, Weights & Biases, Grafana, Prometheus)
