Cybernetica is looking for a Research Project Manager to join our growing Information Security Research Institute. The institute carries out research-heavy projects that are funded by Horizon Europe, the European Space Agency and the European Defense Fund as well as Estonian funding agencies. The institute also consults public and private organisations on different topics concerning emerging technologies and their efficient application in practice. Our focus domains are AI, cybersecurity, cryptography, privacy-enhancing technologies for industry and public sector organisations.

Your main goal as a Research Project Manager will be to ensure smooth and systematic planning and management of research projects from start to end.
Planning and leading research projects, incl. international projects
Ensuring regular progress of the project and deliveries according to the agreed schedule
Writing documentation and writing reports
Leading the project team
Planning and managing expectations and changes in an ongoing project
Managing the relationship with the customer, including technical and business stakeholders
Participating in proposal writing and sales process
At least 2 years of experience in leading software development projects
Experience with international projects
High level of responsibility and systematic approach to your work
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent command of English and Estonian in speaking and writing
Experience with international research projects
Experience with writing project proposals and/or research grants
