We are looking for a Head of Human Resources for a temporary position to create and drive our people strategy, policies and programs that align with our business objectives, vision and values of Cybernetica.

In this role you will actively partner with our top management, product and service units and research institute to identify HR priorities and opportunities. You will be developing and executing HR plans that support the organization’s objectives and our employees in achieving their full potential. You will maintain and promote Cybernetica’s culture and values, support company’s growth and help to create the best working place for our people. The role offers a lot of variety in your everyday work.

You will lead our HR and Office team (team of 5) and ensure that all people related initiatives are delivered efficiently.

In this role you will

  • manage employee relations, including the development and implementation of HR policies and processes across the full employee lifecycle,

  • collect and prioritize the needs of the department managers and employees in order to ensure pro-active HR expertise and support strategic decision-making,

  • develop and implement our talent management strategies to ensure the organization has the talent to meet its current and future needs, partner with leaders to develop our leadership capability and skills needed for our future success,

  • analyze people metrics by adding insight into the overall health of our teams and share trends or opportunities for focus,

  • lead the development and implementation of compensation and benefits programs,

  • provide advice and consultation on complex employee relations issues,

  • lead and provide support to HR & Office team members in daily tasks,

  • ensure compliance with applicable HR laws and regulations,

  • delve into details and execute HR projects yourself as part of the team while not losing sight of the big picture.

As a successful candidate, you must have

  • at least three years of experience in HR leadership role, preferably in IT sector,

  • higher education, preferably in human resources, psychology, economics, or related field,

  • fluent Estonian language and very good English skills (both written and spoken)

  • solid knowledge of HR best practices and laws.

As a successful candidate, you must be

  • with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to work effectively with a wide variety of different people,  

  • strong problem-solver with analytical mind and ability to identify issues and develop solutions,

  • proactive, strategic big-picture thinker,

  • resilient – you remain calm while being challenged and through times of adversity or instability,

  • systematic with a strong sense of duty while working independently and managing multiple priorities.

You will stand out by having any of the following

  • previous experience of working in the technology sector,

  • strong understanding of employment laws and regulations or

  • experience with different HR-related technologies and progress tracking tools.
