Cybernetica is an R&D-focused ICT company that builds and sells mission-critical software and hardware: maritime surveillance systems, border-security solutions, and radio communication infrastructure. We design and deliver integrated solutions end-to-end from radio and radar antennas, masts, and electronics, through to the operator software that runs them for customers in Estonia and around the world.
We're looking for a Hardware Technician to join our small, hands-on technicians team working on surveillance projects. If you enjoy building, testing, and getting hardware working and you don't mind the occasional climb, the odd site visit, or tidying up stock this could be a really strong fit.
Assembling and building our surveillance and radio-communication products
Setting up and coordinating subcontracted parts of the production process
Installing, testing, and troubleshooting products, and documenting them
Sourcing components and materials and keeping the stock organized and up to date
Preparing Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT): placing and cabling equipment into racks, installing pre-configured software, and prepping units for delivery
Supporting customers with installation, configuration, and maintenance of our solutions
Carrying out installation and maintenance work at customer sites
The day-to-day is varied, and we'll walk through the details together in the first interview
At least 2 years of professional experience as a hardware engineer or hardware technician (electronics engineering experience is a plus)
Self-reliance and the ability to work independently
Comfortable in communicating with suppliers and customers
Good spoken Estonian; written English
Experience or comfort working at heights (masts, towers)
Hands-on work with electronics, electricity, and RF (radio-frequency) devices
Enjoyment in organizing and maintaining stock
Willingness to do occasional field work at customer sites
A genuine interest in networks, computers, cameras, radios, radars, and sensors
The chance to build unique products and solutions that end up at customers around the globe
The opportunity to stretch and grow your skills with a smart, competent team
Possibility to attend work-related conferences or trainings of your own choice
Wide range of company benefits (paid health days, sports allowance, massage in the office, different events etc)
Flexible working arrangements in our Tallinn office

We value an atmosphere of learning, collaboration and proactive problem solving, paying great attention also to work-life balance.
