Cybernetica is looking for an AI Researcher to join our growing Information Security Research Institute. The institute carries out research-heavy projects that are funded by Horizon Europe, the European Space Agency and the European Defense Fund as well as Estonian funding agencies.
The researchers working at Cybernetica are motivated by the applications of their research results, and we expect the new researcher to share this enthusiasm. The tight coupling of research and development activities in Cybernetica allows extremely rapid turn-around times from real-world problems through research activities to deployment.

Research topics in AI, machine learning, cybersecurity and privacy technologies
Conduct and publish research results
Be a key person cooperating with other research institutions
A PhD degree (thesis defense may be latest this year) in computer science, mathematics, software engineering or in a closely related field
Knowledge about data science, data privacy and/or information security
An understanding of software development and/or data analysis processes
Very good English skills in speech and writing
Good collaboration and communication skills
IT working experience in other organizations than university
