One important business and development area for Cybernetica is security and privacy related products (UXP, SplitKey). Cryptography field is changing constantly, first post-quantum cryptography standards are in place. Due to the changes and development in post-quantum cryptography field, we are looking to recruit an experienced researcher/software engineer to our team, whose main task will be to help implement the new standards. Candidates with less experience are welcome to apply for a junior position in the same department. The research department currently employs several researchers and a number of PhD students and postdocs, cooperating with University of Tartu and Tallinn University of Technology in PhD student training.
Develop and implement complex post-quantum cryptography products
Analyze cryptographic principles and protocols
Implement post-quantum cryptography standards
Mentor junior programmers
PhD degree (may be in acquisition) in computer science, mathematics, software engineering or in a closely related field
Good understanding of software development process
Either experience in software development or academic/industrial performance in the field of post-quantum cryptography and security
Very good English skills
Solid experience in software development (5+ years) and PhD degree in cryptography
