๐ Tallinn / Tartu, Estonia

We are looking for a Systems Analyst to support the development of a first-of-its-kind spacecraft cyber security module (onboard traffic firewall), from proven algorithms to a qualified flight product on commercial space hardware and RTOS.
This position is responsible for the formal analytical layer between product requirements and implementation. The role covers requirements definition and baseline management, continuous traceability (requirements โ design โ code โ test), and the preparation of the qualification evidence package.
Owning the requirements baseline - extracting, reconciling, and maintaining requirements from our development contract and its ECSS tailoring
Maintaining requirements traceability as a continuous practice
Constructing and maintaining the qualification and certification target
Owning the compliance register - export control (dual-use regimes, ITAR where relevant), data protection, and customer-specific obligations - translated into engineering requirements and tracked
Space-domain operational analysis - reasoning about product behaviour across mission phases (launch and early operations, commissioning, nominal, contingency, safe mode, decommissioning)
Extracting the qualification evidence we need from vendors
Supporting the Product Owner in agency and customer interactions, i.e. questionnaires, requirement capture, and keeping customer-specific commitments tracked and honoured
Demonstrated experience in engineering or systems analysis in a regulated or certified domain, i.e. aerospace, defence, medical devices, or industrial control; the discipline transfers
The ability to write requirements that are precise and testable
Enough technical literacy to write requirements engineers can implement and testers can verify
Detailed eye to notice requirements that nobody has flagged
Experience with the intersection of engineering and external verification - certification bodies, auditors, agencies, or funders
Communication skills that work with both engineers and non-technical external stakeholders
Working knowledge of ECSS and CCSDS - the structure and intent of the standards
Direct experience with space systems in an agency, manufacturer, operator, or research context
Having supported a formal certification or qualification process end-to-end: evidence packages, assessor interactions, findings resolution
Background in security evaluation frameworks - Common Criteria, IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82 - or in demonstrating detection capability to a defined standard
Experience with requirements management tooling (DOORS, Jama, or disciplined lightweight equivalents - the rigour matters more than the tool)
To be a part of different exciting Cybersecurity Space Domain Projects
Supporting and motivated team
Flexible working arrangements
Possibility to attend work-related conferences or trainings of your own choice
Wide range of company benefits (paid health days, sports allowance, massage in the office, different events etc)
Private office space in Tartu or Tallinn

We value an atmosphere of learning, collaboration and proactive problem solving, paying great attention also to work-life balance.
