Unified eXchange Platform (UXP) is a product that creates secure connectivity between organizations, such as government institutions or private companies. We are looking for an experienced Technical Support Engineer to further develop the UXP product, and other related solutions.
Provide technical support both to our customers across the globe and our internal development teams via support portal and chat.
Escalating complex cases to the development teams as per set procedures.
Getting to know UXP and X-Road product, keeping yourself up-to-date with new features and developments.
Design and document system architecture for customer installations.
Support our customers in installing, configuring and maintaining UXP and X-road software.
In cooperation with DevOps engineers, identify and automate the routine tasks.
Work experience as a Technical Support engineer, System Administrator, Test Engineer or in a similar role.
Understanding of Linux, scripting and networking.
Experience or genuine interest in virtualization and container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes or similar).
Interest in release engineering, automation and repeatable processes.
Very good spoken and written English. Knowledge of Estonian, French, Portuguese or Spanish is a big plus.
Ability to work both in a team and independently, to document your work and to be able to successfully communicate with developers, software testers and analysts.
General understanding of main principles of cybersecurity and public key infrastructure.
Good communication skills, patience and be eager to learn new things.
Practical experience with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure , Google Cloud or similar platforms.
Knowledge or practical experience with X-Road technology.
